Cancer Playbook and Peaks to Plains
Changing the Conversation Around Cancer Care Through Science, Access, and Compassion
Partnering with Cancer Playbook and the nonprofit E.R.I.C. (Early Recognition Is Critical, Inc.) to support a groundbreaking shift in how patients—and policymakers—approach cancer treatment.
Together, these two organizations are doing something no one else in Colorado is doing. They are making high-quality CBD oil available at no cost to cancer patients who can benefit, educating physicians and families about patient-reported outcomes using cannabis, and building momentum around science-backed cannabis care that could transform how we think about treatment.
At the center of this effort is one of the most significant pieces of cannabis research ever conducted: a meta-analysis of over 10,000 peer-reviewed studies, published in Frontiers in Oncology. This data powerhouse—compiled by Cancer Playbook and powered by the Whole Health Oncology Institute—analyzes how cannabis may improve outcomes for cancer patients across symptom relief, quality of life, and even tumor regression.
The results are astonishing. And the next step is making sure people know.
We’ve worked closely with the Cancer Playbook and E.R.I.C. teams to shape the strategy to expand their impact. We have helped their nonprofit identify growers, manufacturers and dispensaries to support the expansion and distribution of the medicine. Soon, the medicine will be free across Colorado to patients who agree to complete their self-reported outcomes. We’re also supporting their efforts to maximize turnout for their upcoming Medical Cannabis in Cancer Care Conference in Denver this October, and helping bring sponsors and champions to the table to build long-term visibility and credibility.
This is more than an academic milestone. It’s a patient-led movement. The Lung Cancer Playbook—a detailed treatment guide based on real patient outcomes—is already changing how individuals approach Full Extract Cannabis Oil (FECO) protocols, especially in cases where conventional treatments fall short.
By helping connect Cancer Playbook and E.R.I.C. with the right audiences, support systems, and decision-makers, we’re ensuring this work reaches those who need it most. As they expand access to free CBD oil for cancer patients across Colorado, we’re proud to help them build a smarter, more compassionate model for care—one that merges science, story, and access in service of patients and progress.
