Fast-Tracking the Future of Transportation
Swisspod Technologies – Building Next-Generation High-Speed Rail in Pueblo, CO
Peaks to Plains Government Relations is proud to support Swisspod Technologies as they bring their groundbreaking transportation technologies to Southern Colorado. Already developing the world’s largest hyperloop track, Swisspod is advancing their new technology, Project AERYS, which will revolutionize high speed rail. This new kind of high-speed rail uses battery-powered pods that levitate and travel at near-sonic speeds—and Pueblo is where it all begins.
We helped Swisspod establish Pueblo as the company’s U.S. base for testing and manufacturing. Working alongside PEDCO, PURA, PuebloPlex, and local leaders, we’ve moved this global project forward with local impact at its core. Swisspod’s 50-acre site in Pueblo is now home to the world’s longest hyperloop test track and the company’s first U.S. manufacturing hub.
Unlike traditional rail systems, Swisspod’s patented technology doesn’t require electrifying the entire track. Instead, the energy is contained within the pod, which dramatically cuts infrastructure costs—by up to 90%—while increasing energy efficiency and speed. That kind of innovation has already captured the attention of international investors and transportation leaders from around the world.
This project is expected to bring over 1000 skilled jobs to Pueblo. A nearby demonstration track is also in planning, which would make Pueblo the center of high speed rail innovation in the U.S.
By helping bring the right people to the table, secure local incentives, and elevate the project with state and federal leaders, we’re helping ensure that this once-in-a-generation transportation breakthrough happens right here—in Pueblo, Colorado.
